Terms of Service

Last updated: [DATE]

1. Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using Baladi, you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity on your account. Business accounts (drivers, stores) require admin approval before going live, and may be suspended for violating these terms.

3. Orders, deliveries, and rides

Baladi connects customers with independent stores, drivers, and service providers — we're a platform, not the seller of record for store items. Prices, availability, and delivery times are set by individual stores and may vary. Payment can be made in cash or via in-app wallet balance. [Add real payment processor terms here once integrated.]

4. Cancellations & refunds

Orders can be cancelled before a store confirms/begins preparing them. Wallet payments for cancelled orders are refunded to your in-app balance. [Define your actual refund policy and timelines here.]

5. Listing plans (stores)

Store accounts choose a listing plan that limits how many menu items and featured items they can list. [Add real billing terms — payment schedule, upgrade/downgrade rules, non-payment consequences — once billing is implemented.]

6. Conduct

Don't misuse the platform: fraudulent orders, harassment of drivers or store staff, or attempting to circumvent the platform for payment are grounds for suspension.

7. Disclaimer & liability

The app is provided "as is." [Add your actual limitation-of-liability language — this needs a lawyer familiar with your local consumer-protection law, especially since real food/delivery/transport services carry real-world safety considerations.]

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [YOUR JURISDICTION].
